RN Margeret Brace of Carington about 30 yeres old. Octob 6 die ♀ h 1|9|. \9/. 38. sick for this 3 weekes. 1598. speachles & almost Dead. about a fortnight a goe. & did bleed wonderfully

this woman sente vnto me by the vicar of Crowly but I would give her nothing vntill I had spoken w^th some y^t knew the state of the woman the vicar sent Iohn ball. the woman mended p^rsently vppon it.

RN Elisabeth Knight \of Olnye/ the daughter of will: Knight 14 yeres old at w a fortnight afore whitsontide wheeseth & ratleth in her chest & it gathereth more & more to her hart shee hath had it ever sinc shee was borne but troubled w^th it more this moneth then ever before. 6 of Octob. die ♀ ♄ {sic}. 10. 15. m. 1598.

RN Goody Reede of Broughton 63. yeres old sick very extreme sick on satterday last leekely to have dien being the 7. of octob. & then recovered again & fell sick agayne vppon tuesday after. being the 10 of Octob. sent to me vppon thursday being the 12 of octob. it taketh all above the gyrdell first in the shoulders to the brest & so to the hart her sydes wher it so lyeth as that on may tak out thenc as shee thinketh 1598. h die ♃ h. 8. 30. mi. 1598.

RN Harry Goodin taken lame in his left leg not swollen he cannot styrre his right side. in his leg & huck bone he layd in the fild Downe & being hote tooke a colde. this day or monday was sennet 17 d 16 last Christmas eve. 1598. pater  filio et filius oravit patrē. vt me consulet  morbo. Octob. 29 die ☉ h. 1. 1598. it took him in the fild as if it were prickt with nales. he cryeth out whē it is touched.

RN \Alce Knight./ Baal Goody Baal for Rogar Knights wif of Newport Lathbury 40 yeres old Alce Knight in childbed this month. not hart sicke but taken w^th a shivering in the bottome of her bodye & so cometh vpwards y^t shee cannot hold still her mouthe shee doth shiver exceedingly it holdeth all day & night. w^th some litle intermission. nor|t| hart sick nor any other where but w^th y^t shivering not churched. RN Ihone Nelson of Moulso of 52 yeres old. sick this 14 yere. always vomiteth vp her meate espec. this last yere. keepeth nowe her bed it g{oo}gleth in her body. y^t w^c cometh vp is black as sote nothing given her will: make her vomit shee bendeth her selfe forward & always must reatch fleume sick her back & left side & keepeth her bed. & tumbleth vp all 10. 45. ant m 1598. shee feareth lest shee be wasted w^thin. 1598. die ☿ always cold feete hands novemb. 8.

RN Iohn Risely of Rawnson mill. l 72 yeres old sick in L {sic} his body this 2 or 3 yeres about his \6 weekes./ he cōplayneth \of his navell/ it is sore & rūneth a|i|t reeseth at his navell leek an oake water. it looketh red & is rawe. he hath the cholick w^th all & y^t for this 7 yeres: maketh water very often. he thinketh his teeth to {stink} in his hed. & his feete to Double vnder him die ☿. h. 12. 15. 1598 he sent me a dish of oates he is a fuller. novemb. 8. 1598.

RN Ihone Nelson of Mowlsoe 52 yeres having taken a smay because her husband on a time beating her mead for denying of y^t w^c her husband knew to the contrary, shee bearing of the blowes when her husband strook her it fortuned w^thin a while after the servant Died & the mother of y^t ser child sayd shee would never live vntill shee had hanged him for killing of his {sic} Daughter sinc w^c time shee ever vomiteth blacke soote every day for this twelfmoneths. 14 yeres agoe. or therabout her servant beaten died. shee loseth of her beastꝭ & co kines fat & good on a sudden sinc yesterday shee yea & sometimes shee can make make {sic} no butter no phisicke will goe Downeward but vpward all & y^t as mutch w^thout phisick as w^th it.
