CASE73371: Horary consultation concerning Mr Richard Gowland [Master of Arts] (PERSON50178)

SRN Mr Richard Gowland of Westmr Coll. Novemb. 17. . h. 6. 45. p. m. 1631.

Who hearinge of a Chymist yt Liued wth ye Earle of Arundell went to him & consulted wth him touching his disease, vpon his relation how it was wth me held him, he resolued him it was a Catarrhous humor wch if it were in short tyme remedyed would end in a Palsey or some such cold disease.

THe {sic} Chymist would giue him a powder or two, yt shall giue him the one a vomitt thother a purge & afterwards would giue him a Pill yt shall by degrees dry vp that humor in his head & keepe his body solluble also.

RN she craveth my opinion of the water she sent me of a gentlemā & my Counsell touching him she craveth no physick at this prsent except his water & disease of necessity Doth require it

craveth my opinion touching Mres Cottens Disease & wheathr to be cured.
