RN Iohn Richardson of newp 48 y. had a third ague a yere & better. 5 y sinc & neaver well sinc. & now sorely payned in his right leg w^thout any swelling a bad stomack short wynded was wont to bleed mutch. & is very faynt & reareth blood & did bleed mutch at nose is aguish red & thick. very extreme faynt & weake & did swound last sonday. eateth litle./ extreme short wȳded

RN Iohn Phylip sick ever sinc thursday being the 30 of Decēb \novemb/ sent to me agayne the 4 of Decemb sick very greevously in his hart & body he is swelled in his body from the belly vnto his hart. he is Costive & so hath cōtinued ever sinc thursday last & is very exceeding ill & weeke. Decēber. 4. \die ☾./ h: 9. 15. ant m. 1598 his hart \is good/ & his tonge talketh cheerf but his body swelled.

RN Iohn Risely of Rawnstyn 63|7|. {sic} 67. hath bene sick on weddensday last 6 weekes sound in body but bursten this 16 weekes. he was wont to be troubled w^th a wind Cholick. nowe last of l {sic} all w^th an issue on his navell eaten in an Inche deepe but nowe growen vp againe saving that it hath a litle hole in it w^c when they went to stoppe it put him in danger of death. sent his sonne to me he kepeth his bed nowe & then payned in his back & pricking & shooting in his navell {virs} an end. bleedeth every foote & wetteth a handkerchir. Drinkes losing him y^t hath had taken a diet losing Drinke for 3 days fasting & had 2 cakes & hath in a day. his excrementꝭ looke white & his face & eyes all yellowe but a fully faced youthe. 24 of Apr. die ♂ h. 9. 30 p m {sic}. 1599. cathed it w^th a wet & cold. faynt & feeble.
