Richard Napier Iane Renche of g {sic} Abnom \Audnam/ in the County of hartford 36 y. maried 14 yeres & had no child till nowe of late hath a falling sicknes in 2 night & on day did fall 5 days.. hath no witte nor remēbrance. may. 21. die h. 11. 20 ant m. 1600

had a child in her arms of her brothers & let it fall & knew it not

Editorial Note:  A note on f. 82r of Ashmole 215, written on 26 March 1606, reads: ‘IJane Wrench of Hartfordsheere 40 y march 26 christmas last was tweluvemoneth 2 tyeres. Dyed wthwith the falling sicknes vuncurable Quære.’
