A water stilled from salt peeter & sal armoniack purifyed then put a quantity of spritꝭ of wyne therto wch will congeale then Draw it of & put it on so often vntill It will congeale no more D Dee. novēb 27. 1618 a menstruū to dissolve gold & good to take inward water of salt armoniak good & salfe to take adding therof as of oyle of vitrioyle vnto Iulep or syrope very cooling & opening.
