M^r Stokes came from Wing to see Ian 22 Monday h. 4. 30 p m & fell into a great scowring & waxed sick & faynt & stomackles but after a few days recoavered. & then sent for to my lady or rather I wrote in his behalf{e} for a Coach 26 of Ian & sent it but wrot it Ian 25 ... & the 26 when my letter was delivered ... my lady wrote back y^t her coach & horses w{ere} not fit & y^t he should stay till he were better me{nded}
