Editorial Note:  A note on f. 178v of this volume, written on 8 September 1619, reads: ‘natha lake distēempered in his brayne & had 3 potions but he dyed a weeke after had a vomyt a purg & a sleeping potion wchwhich he tooke not he dyed about 2 months since the satt following’.
