RN Rich Ellys of Hanslop now of Stonystratford came to me to borow 30^li for a moneth Apr 9. ☿ h. 3. 3 5. 30 an|p| m 1606.

he came to borow this mony to get a don for his sonne. I had it not for him & therfore could not lend it.

GJ Toby maunsell sent a letter w^ch I rec’ Septemb. 29 ♄ ho. 5. 30 p. m. 1604 RN at this tyme m^r Iames read it for I was absent

he would have me to intreat his m^r y^t he might goe to sea againe. but his m^r would not for he delt naughtely w^th him
