RN Iohn Phylip sick ever sinc thursday being the 30 of Decēb \novemb/ sent to me agayne the 4 of Decemb sick very greevously in his hart & body he is swelled in his body from the belly vnto his hart. he is Costive & so hath cōtinued ever sinc thursday last & is very exceeding ill & weeke. very weake & feeble yet sitteth vp & eateth p^rty well. scoureth mtch {sic} hath a soure belching yet no aptnes to cast.

would know wheath^r fit to give her a vomyt considering her \great/ weaknes & sither her scouring Doth her so mutch good craveth an answere to his forme & to this Letter also.

wheath^r any other course for mending of the sourenes will not helpe w^th out a vomyt.
