RN William Malins came home even nowe very sick. on told him it was the winde cholick August. 2i die ♂ h. 4. 12. m p m. 1599 |his disease took him vppō thursday last|

he wilbe 24 yeres old 5 weekes afore christmas borne on a sunday morninge before breake a daye

RN Goodmā|dy| Nueman of Brodwell. of 45 yeres of age found mutch ease by y^t w^c phisick w^c was given her & wrought vpward & downeward w^th her & shee was very prety well after it for 2 or 3 days. &|b|ut st the thirde day after it tooke her agayne & she is mutch troubled w^th the winde cholick & w^th a hot & drye stomacke. & sent her daugh{t}{er} agayne to me. RN Iohn Witton of layton 34. y. for a payne & a heaving in his stomacke ascending to his head a winde cholicke. hath a great water {illeg}|on| his stomack & in his mouth & teeth hot scalding in his mout the rough of his mouthe ready to scald him. of Layton. 159 Octob 6. die ♄ h. 2. p m. 1599. /this 2 yeres.\

RN M^r Will: Co{l|e|}lles Colles of Parke berrye of 58 troubled sick this i6 yeres & hath had the Counsell of the most exte phisitions troubled w^th a windy cause as he sayth cōming from his backe by a great heate & obstruction from my liver. also w^th a bad stomacke elevating winde into my hed. w^ch causeth gydines or streming in my head w^ch cometh as he thinketh by the ascending vp of bad & melancholy humours & w^th a shaking in my left hand mightely as it were the palsye but always very hotte. nowe of late w^th the brevity of wind in my stomacke & chest & lately w^th a mūmnes {sic} & tinckling in my hands. lips & sydes & face. this 15 of may. die ♂ h. 4. 45. p m. 1599.
