RN \Alce Knight./ Baal Goody Baal for Rogar Knights wif of Newport Lathbury 40 yeres old Alce Knight in childbed this month. not hart sicke but taken w^th a shivering in the bottome of her bodye & so cometh vpwards y^t shee cannot hold still her mouthe shee doth shiver exceedingly it holdeth all day & night. w^th some litle intermission. nor|t| hart sick nor any other where but w^th y^t shivering not churched. RN Edmund Hauckings of Newport 47|8| yeres old came to me reasonable well for ought I could ceave amisse & not sound in body any time 10 yees {sic} commonly at this time of the yeare but taketh him at Alhollantide & holdeth him vnto the springe of the yeare. came for my consell him selfe this 15 of Decemb^r die ♀ h. 9. 54. 1598. of a high reddish Colour of a black hed & beard. this disease hath greeved him a Chilly Cold in his hed.
