RN Goodmā Sumner of Woulverton came to my house to enquire what Deanes of Woulverton he as he sayth his Ilwiller had reported touching his wife. Iune 8 ♂ hor. 7. ant m. 1602.

RN Iune 8 ♂. h 2. 20. p m hor ♂ I went to M^r Byrds & aft^r a good supper we had talke of the crosse of Ihūs christ & greate Disputation. wheath^r it ough{t} to be vsed in baptisme I or noe. they Denyed it I {ass}{u}med it they held it as a popish & a wicked ceremony. this Disputation was betwixt 8 & 9 of the clocke & about after 9 of the clocke on came to M^r Byrd{s} f|t|o me for physicke w^ch met w^th on that Directed him vppon the stone bridge & told him he should fynde me at M^r Byrds house Iune 8 ♂ hor 8. 30 p m. 1602.

RN Broth^r & sist^r kympton did send me cōmend by Th. Cooke & were desyrous to see me Iunij 26. ♂ hor 12. 25. p m 1604.

RN M^r Baskavyll sent me a letter frō Exeter colledg to acquaint me w^th his ceedings may 5. ♂ h. 9 ant |p| m 1607.
