I receaved from my Lord of Lincolnes steward a most kind letter.

RN Francis Cooke of Northāpton feb 23 a wench. ♀ h. 10. 15 p m 1627. now 4 y. old. almost a moh|n|th {sic} \month/ sick

now hath an Ague lips very sore & broken out. dull heavy no ioy of any thing eateth litle, sleepeth not quietly. vryne cold red thick temp. & hath bene laxative vryne warned mutch better in colour./ feb 8 ☾ {sic} h 2 p m. 163i.

RN Alce Cheany a poor widow 60 y of Paulusperry Ian. 22 ♂ h. 11. 30 ant m 1605. cōplayneth of her hed. & hart w^th a shooting.

RN Alce forde of betchampton 60 y. payned in her body went not to stoole twice this 2 monets taketh no thing. but drinke Ian 30 die ☿ h. 12.

she is swelled in her bodye. & very hot. wamblie in her bodye.

RN Elis Morgan 2 y of moulsoe sept 8 ☿ h. 2 p m 1619

hath \had/ the pox this fortnight all be come fouth {sic} but the throat is very sore cānot swallowe the eyes be swelled w^th it¹

RN M^r lea sent to me to come over to him for he is extreme sicke payned on the left syde cānot make water eateth litle or nothing Ian. 30 ♃ h. 5. 30 p m. 1612.

RN Amy Ringe of Cranfield of 27. vnmarid. hath a great paine in her backe harte. & no digestion & Doth every day cast vp her meate. hard bound in her bodye. this fortnight. hath not had her Courses kindly not at any time May 5. die ♄ h. 1. 30. p m. 1599.

RN Iohn Risely of Rawnson sent onc againe to me for my counsell his pain lieth now in his Cods {w^c} are swollen as big as ons hed & as hard as a borde he was wont to haue them swollen very big but then lasted but 5 houres & nowe swelled ever sinc weddensday he cannot eate sleepe or goe to ground. troubled w^th the wind Cholicke a paine in his backe st{illeg}ry Desirous to take a stro{illeg} but Doubteth he ca shall be able Decēb. filius  patre cū consensu.
