A Great winde runinge vp & downe sometimes betweene the Skin, sometimes in all places of the Body, sometimes in ye heade & sometimes swellinge downe into the twist & into the Codds, as yf hee were bursten, a great rumblinge & noise in the gutts, & is worst at the full of the Moone: many Phisitians haue tryed but none could doe him good ye winde is soe stronge, & prualent. hee desireth Counsell & helpe yf God bee soe pleased.

RN Mr Will: Co{l|e|}lles Colles of Parke berrye of 58 troubled sick this i6 yeres & hath had the Counsell of the most exte phisitions troubled wth a windy cause as he sayth cōming from his backe by a great heate & obstruction from my liver. also wth a bad stomacke elevating winde into my hed. wch causeth gydines or streming in my head wch cometh as he thinketh by the ascending vp of bad & melancholy humours & wth a shaking in my left hand mightely as it were the palsye but always very hotte. nowe of late wth the brevity of wind in my stomacke & chest & lately wth a mūmnes {sic} & tinckling in my hands. lips & sydes & face. this 15 of may. die h. 4. 45. p m. 1599.
