RN Iohn Whitaker of Newport c{illeg}|u|tler of 40 yeres olde fell sick & came to a misfortune the 2 of octob. die ☾ ca sent to me for my counsell this 16 of october die ☾. h. 10. ant m 1598. he keepeth his bed ever sinc except he be lifted.

RN Harry Goodin taken lame in his left leg not swollen he cannot styrre his right side. in his leg & huck bone he layd in the fild Downe & being hote tooke a colde. this day or monday was sennet 17 d 16 last Christmas eve. 1598. pater  filio et filius oravit patrē. vt me consulet  morbo. this woman sente vnto me by the vicar of Crowly but I would give her nothing vntill I had spoken w^th some y^t knew the state of the woman the vicar sent Iohn ball. the woman mended p^rsently vppon it.

RN Elisabeth Rowle Sowle of Lowton 50 yeres old sick first began to be sicke vppon the 3 of Octob. cam at night came t sent her husband to me shee hath bene full of ache a long time & hath kept her bed ever since Octob. 11 die ☿ h. 7. 45. 1598
