RN Will: Miller of Brodwell: cōplayneth of the roling & tūbling of his belly mawe as he thinketh on his stomacke. & every day he vomiteth vp his meate & cannot digest it his meate yet he findeth som ease after he hath vomited it vp: he is best when he eateth nothing but fasteth. he is best in y^e aforenoone. RN Elisabeth Rowle Sowle of Lowton 50 yeres old sick first began to be sicke vppon the 3 of Octob. cam at night came t sent her husband to me shee hath bene full of ache a long time & hath kept her bed ever since Octob. 11 die ☿ h. 7. 45. 1598

RN Ihone Nelson of Mowlsoe 52 yeres having taken a smay because her husband on a time beating her mead for denying of y^t w^c her husband knew to the contrary, shee bearing of the blowes when her husband strook her it fortuned w^thin a while after the servant Died & the mother of y^t ser child sayd shee would never live vntill shee had hanged him for killing of his {sic} Daughter sinc w^c time shee ever vomiteth blacke soote every day for this twelfmoneths. 14 yeres agoe. or therabout her servant beaten died. shee loseth of her beastꝭ & co kines fat & good on a sudden sinc yesterday shee yea & sometimes shee can make make {sic} no butter no phisicke will goe Downeward but vpward all & y^t as mutch w^thout phisick as w^th it. RN Rich Kerby Miller of Newport 60 \56/ yeres old. long & grevously sick {filiu}s  patre \{servus}  Domino/ cū euꝯ {sic} consensu it hath held this 4 yeres by fits but this quarter of this yere held him sorely & keepeth home some days his bed in his fit & then abroad. a payne in his hart w^th a sighing black coloured very fat of his face but w^th this sicknes shrunk in his bodye & legs. M^r yarrow for him novemb. {sic} 1 Decēb. die ♀ h. 10. 15. 1598¹

RN Iames Greenewood of water eaton Doct^r Sparkꝭ tennet {sic} 50 yeres old. complayneth of his of h an old dysease of his harte now well & lusty but not long sinc almost ded in it. troubled w^th a stitch on his right side & cometh over his hart ready to swounde. very cold w^th it. of a high colour. stuffed in his Chest y^t he can scarce tak his winde quærit Decēbr. 2. die ♄. h. 10. 15. mi. 1598. his hart trembleth muday {sic} last sick lame.
