RN Sr Sanders Duncōbe Ian of St Iohns streete in London by Smythfild Ian. 7. h. 6. 30 p m 1630 /sent me dulcis fron {sic} 4 to 7. wōderfully cōmended\

enquireth wheathr the pouder cōmended for a Curious medson be so excellent good & suff to be taken. cōpounded of gold & it draweth Downe all the Distems of the head into the stomack & then a clyster bringeth all downe or riddeth it quite1

Comended by a gentlemā for a rare curious & admirable medson.

borne feb 13. 1581. in the morning. full 47 last febr bone {sic} in the morning & christned the same Day

Sr Sanders Ducōb \47. y./ natus feb 13 h 15 21. his mother dyed when he was but 4 {illeg} \7/ yeres 5 or 6 y after her death vnwares leaping leaped into a well & was like to be drownd & 2 or 3 y wth his younger brothr sliding on the Ice fell into the water but wthout harme

20 y old travelled into franc & stayed 3 quarter of a yere & retured {sic} at the Death of his fathr being 21 y

Then living on yere in England he traveled into Italy wch beng {sic} about a yere there it was his hap riding on a mule to fall backward wth his mule also

then some few yeres after became servant to k Iames & then after to k Char The miklemas before the k went in to Scotland was sick of a dangerus burning feever then vppō the death of a frind fell into a weeping passion & thenc into extrene {sic} melanc |Write on monday next|
