RN An Haman 56 of litle brickhill: sick ever sinc Christmas not hart sick but swollen in her body & in her legs & very stiffe sent to me by her husband. Martij 22. die ♃ ♄ {sic}. 1. 10. 1599. very costive & as if shee were st{oun}ge & cannot rise except shee be lifted. very cold & stiffe & short winded & leekely to die 1599.

RN M^r {sic} Charels Tutcher Charles at Stonystratford at the swan of 2 neckes. 45. sick this fortnight. sonewhat {sic} Costive shee doth bleede & is very mutch stuffed in her chest can scarce tak her winde. ready to sound a grosse & fat woman. sent a poer woman. RN Iohn Risely of Rawnstyn 63|7|. {sic} 67. hath bene sick on weddensday last 6 weekes sound in body but bursten this 16 weekes. he was wont to be troubled w^th a wind Cholick. nowe last of l {sic} all w^th an issue on his navell eaten in an Inche deepe but nowe growen vp againe saving that it hath a litle hole in it w^c when they went to stoppe it put him in danger of death. sent his sonne to me he kepeth his bed nowe & then payned in his back & pricking & shooting in his navell {virs} an end. bleedeth every foote & wetteth a handkerchir. RN William Berde 54 yers old of Potters Perye. sick on weddensday last keepeth his bed vp & downe can not rest. sent to me his sonne 26 of March die ☾ h. 8. 30. mi. ant m. 1599. sick at hart & stomack ill. very hot. a great stitch & cough & reaneth mutch fleune {sic}.

RN Thomas Gardner of Dunsanger of 62 yeres old y^t pissed blood & was mended by the herbꝭ y^t I sent him in a receipte. sinc y^t time had on Waly who hath w^th his Clisters Done him litle good but is swollen in his belly w^c is growen very harde. & mutch payned in his share & can make but a litle water halfe a sponefull at a time would knowe wheath^r leekly to die or live. went not to ground sinc munday last about 12 a clocke sent to me this 18 of Apr. die ☿. h. 7. ant m 1599 burneth in his yarde.

RN Edward Carter of Cranfilde 48. hath taken a lamenes frō the smalenes of his backe t {sic} Downe to his knee of the right side full of aches & shooting & prickings otherwise not hart sick weddensday last was sennet. sent to me this 25 of Apr. die ☿ h. 7. ante m. 1599. |a leane man. a black swarthy man|

RN Agnes Harwood of Cosgrave 50 yeres payned in her legs & body. hoven in the neither side of her belly as it were an impostume very sicke w^thall & vomiteth vp every daye what serve {sic} shee taketh. sent to me this first of may. 8|h|or 8. 30|5|. p|a|nt m. 1599.

RN Goody Ashburnoure very sorely pained in her head light headed & swelled in her face very red. can take no sleepe nor rest. sent to me. may 4. die ♀. h. 5. 48. mi ant m 1599 hath not had her couses {sic} this two yeres. bledeth nowe & then at the nose.

RN Goodmā|dy| Nueman of Brodwell. of 45 yeres of age found mutch ease by y^t w^c phisick w^c was given her & wrought vpward & downeward w^th her & shee was very prety well after it for 2 or 3 days. &|b|ut st the thirde day after it tooke her agayne & she is mutch troubled w^th the winde cholick & w^th a hot & drye stomacke. & sent her daugh{t}{er} agayne to me. Aug. 26. die ♄ h. 12. 30. 1598.

RN Alce Bruer can not goe vpright but goeth Double vp by the fier hoven in the belly & payned in y^e bottome of her belly all|{aft^r}| a longe tine {sic}. sent Ih{one} Honour. Decēb. 15. die ♀. 11. 15. mi. 1598. worse when shee eateth any thinge.

RN M^r Iohn lea sent his water at troubled with an ague. & a reume. 20 of March. die ♂ h. 7. 20 ant m. 1599. \feareth a palsye cold in his feete./

RN Goodman Gardner of Dunsanger of 68 yeres old very costive his bodye out of tem. his {sic} the bottome of his belly mutch swelled water passeth from him he knoweth not howe. sent to me. Maij 2. die ☿. h. 8 20 mi ant m. 1599. harthose/

RN Loode Nichols of Stony stratford of 3 yeres come maudlingtyde can make no water. gave great skyking & looketh very pale & white & eateth greadily. Did vomit but that stayed. the belly full of blisters. f{illeg} father sent to me this 8 of may die ♂ h. 5. 55. p m. 1599.

RN Goody Greenes water of haversham brought to me 24 of may h. 6. 38. m p m. 1599 by Goody Hopkins shee hath a quotidian ague. & shivereth & shaketh wonderfully w^th it & loketh very pale w^th it & yet her wat^r very red.

RN Margeret Brace of Carington about 30 yeres old. Octob 6 die ♀ h 1|9|. \9/. 38. sick for this 3 weekes. 1598. speachles & almost Dead. about a fortnight a goe. & did bleed wonderfully

this woman sente vnto me by the vicar of Crowly but I would give her nothing vntill I had spoken w^th some y^t knew the state of the woman the vicar sent Iohn ball. the woman mended p^rsently vppon it.

RN Iohn Phylip of Bletcley very extreeme sick bound & very Costive the last phisick would not work w^th him as Doct^r Spark writeth me, nowe again sendeth to me. this 9 of Decēb^r die ♄. h. 12. 15. 1598. troubled w^th the wind cholicke

RN fayth Gibbes of Wicken 46. amisse in her sinewes cannot gripe any thing w^th her hands so feeble & weake sometimes in hir feete & knees all swollen & keepe there naturall colour. of a good cōplex. & light harte. sent to me this 26 of Ap. h. 9. 30. ant m. 1599. a great paine in her armes. could not cut her meate.

RN Mres fayth Gybbes 50 sent to me againe the 5 of May. for a stiffnes in t & swelling & knobbes in t her wrest & inside of her wrests & hands, for a paine in her sinewes an {sic} an ache in her bones, hands & knees. altering from place to place. die ♄. h. 10. 30 m ant m. 1599.
