RN Rich Kerby Miller of Newport 60 \56/ yeres old. long & grevously sick {filiu}s  patre \{servus}  Domino/ cū euꝯ {sic} consensu it hath held this 4 yeres by fits but this quarter of this yere held him sorely & keepeth home some days his bed in his fit & then abroad. a payne in his hart w^th a sighing black coloured very fat of his face but w^th this sicknes shrunk in his bodye & legs. RN M^r Will: Co{l|e|}lles Colles of Parke berrye of 58 troubled sick this i6 yeres & hath had the Counsell of the most exte phisitions troubled w^th a windy cause as he sayth cōming from his backe by a great heate & obstruction from my liver. also w^th a bad stomacke elevating winde into my hed. w^ch causeth gydines or streming in my head w^ch cometh as he thinketh by the ascending vp of bad & melancholy humours & w^th a shaking in my left hand mightely as it were the palsye but always very hotte. nowe of late w^th the brevity of wind in my stomacke & chest & lately w^th a mūmnes {sic} & tinckling in my hands. lips & sydes & face. this 15 of may. die ♂ h. 4. 45. p m. 1599.
