M^r Vnderhill of Willing Came and told me that the Chiefest Cause of his Cōmin{g} was to Crave yo^r advise a{nd} other his friendꝭ concerning th{e} exchaunge of his vicarig|d|ge of of willi{ng} where the patron offreth h being a drap{er} offreth him if he will not take his cōm{o}dityes in kinde to give him for them 50^li per annū and besides he shal{l} have 30^li  annū for p^rching. They require every Saboth a sermon, and he that is now son there because he is a yong scholler and not well able to forme it, is desyrous to make an exchaunge, w^th m^r vnderhill and some of his friendꝭ offer him C^li He thinkꝭ that m^r Robt Sandy may do him some pleasure in the matter by his aquaintance w^th the patron of the benefice He spake of this Septemb. 28 ♀ ho. 10. 45 a. m. 1604

the former payment was for curations to the bishop every thr trienyall: x^s 10^d |3^s 4^d|
