I receaved from my Lord of Lincolnes steward a most kind letter.

RN Anthony Smith for his sons Daughter 4 yeres old very exceeding sleepy can eat nothing keepeth her bed looketh pale. cōplayneth of her hed & her mouth sore & cannot swallowe. Octob. 10|1| die ♂ ♄ {sic}. 11. 25|0|. 1598.

RN Goodman Honour of Newport for his wife who hath bene longe sick & is nowe very exceeding ill h {sic} as her husband telleth me. hanc male suspicant^r de veneficio

RW Laurence Iuckkerby of Layton. y. 38. d. ♂ h: 22. 55. ant. m. Martij 14 1620. put on a shirte not ayred on morninge, & was all that \day/ after it cold & aguish & at night had a great payne with an extreeme stick in his ryght side. can take nothing but liquid matter, & yet hee vomiteth vp that againe If hee doth but stirre his sticke taketh him extreamely. hee is very faynt.

RN Richard Sūner of lowten 23. his payne lyeth in his head. cannot sleepe nor goe to stoole eateth very litle is very weake. Septemb. 13. die ♃ h. 3. 6 p m. 1599.
