RN Rich Kerby Miller of Newport 60 \56/ yeres old. long & grevously sick {filiu}s  patre \{servus}  Domino/ cū euꝯ {sic} consensu it hath held this 4 yeres by fits but this quarter of this yere held him sorely & keepeth home some days his bed in his fit & then abroad. a payne in his hart w^th a sighing black coloured very fat of his face but w^th this sicknes shrunk in his bodye & legs. RN Widowe Fjsher sente to me to come to her. fr she lieth very sicke 1597. Octob. 19. die ☿ hor. 10. 9 mi. quæro morbū et an recuperab. filius  mat et cū consensu certū iudiciū eū dorso gravisse ægrotare et in tergo p^rcipue. et ventre shee hath a very great scouring & tooke a cold.
