RN Iohn Stubly 22. of Shenly complayneth of his guts & the gnawing of his navell & he voyded a worme. black & longe. he lyeth vppon the ground on his belly cannot tak any rest Apr. 6. die ♀ h. 10. 20 1599. wat^r good. a {sic} bl ruddy coloured & nowe pale coloured. the spice of it this 2 yeres.

RN Lewis Vppne 42. for {sic} in litle Brickwill. servant to M^r Fisher for an extreme payne about his navell y^t so payneth him y^t he can tak noe rest & four can scarc hold him down he casteth all vp & nothing will goe downward. very Costive & full of wind at the very navell. casteth vp his meate. RN Iohn Risely of Rawnstyn 63|7|. {sic} 67. hath bene sick on weddensday last 6 weekes sound in body but bursten this 16 weekes. he was wont to be troubled w^th a wind Cholick. nowe last of l {sic} all w^th an issue on his navell eaten in an Inche deepe but nowe growen vp againe saving that it hath a litle hole in it w^c when they went to stoppe it put him in danger of death. sent his sonne to me he kepeth his bed nowe & then payned in his back & pricking & shooting in his navell {virs} an end. bleedeth every foote & wetteth a handkerchir.
