RN Margery Clarke a midwife of Stony stratford for a great swelling in her thiges & bo legs y^t on may see her face in it & so striketh vp to her harte ready to stop &|h|er winde. the bell went for her yesterdaye hath a great scouring this on her & hath had it a longe time.

RN M^r Farindon sent to me for my Counsell for his passion of his hart. very s {sic} vsuall & easely cured w^th every small sturring & continueth w^th him 3 dayes. & for the Correcting of the spleene w^ch is supposed by the docters to be the cause therof. becaus he feeleth him selfe not well in the spleen sent his letter. may the 8. die ♂ h. 7. 50 8. ant m. 1599.

RN Thomas Gardner of Dunsanger of 62 yeres old y^t pissed blood & was mended by the herbꝭ y^t I sent him in a receipte. sinc y^t time had on Waly who hath w^th his Clisters Done him litle good but is swollen in his belly w^c is growen very harde. & mutch payned in his share & can make but a litle water halfe a sponefull at a time would knowe wheath^r leekly to die or live. went not to ground sinc munday last about 12 a clocke sent to me this 18 of Apr. die ☿. h. 7. ant m 1599 burneth in his yarde.
