RN Will: Miller of Brodwell: cōplayneth of the roling & tūbling of his belly mawe as he thinketh on his stomacke. & every day he vomiteth vp his meate & cannot digest it his meate yet he findeth som ease after he hath vomited it vp: he is best when he eateth nothing but fasteth. he is best in y^e aforenoone. hath taken her selfe to be w^th child sinc twelfetyde to Easter. but hath had a great many of her sicknesses & doe follow her ever since but she is as big as if shee were w^th child & shee thincketh y^t shee feeleth something styrr as if shee were w^th child. very sick frō 3 in y^e morning to 2 in y^e aft^r noone y^t she cā take no rest. neith^r a bed nor vp.

shee maketh & laboureth sometymes to vomite but brin{k}|g|eth vp nothing but wat^r eateth nothing but breath. shee is very dry.

Martij 14 1620. put on a shirte not ayred on morninge, & was all that \day/ after it cold & aguish & at night had a great payne with an extreeme stick in his ryght side. can take nothing but liquid matter, & yet hee vomiteth vp that againe If hee doth but stirre his sticke taketh him extreamely. hee is very faynt.

RN William Tomson of 12 yeres on a friday a moneth afore Miklemas quærit valde ægrotat ventre. 6 of novemb. it tooke him on 2 of novemb. die ♃ in the morning. he it cometh & taketh him by fits & & {sic} ariseth vp in his stomack he could not take his meate. but would vomit vp but y^t is stayd & troubleth his hed but most his belly burneth wonderfully cannot eate. RN M^r Barker \of great Horwood/ the cter sent a letter opening his maladyes may 2. h {sic} hor. 6. 25. ant m 1618. a stopping of cold & tough flegme y^t hath bene long a contracting in y^e stomach. a great cough & reareth mutch & the hed w^th senc & feeling went almost in two no great appetite to eate. save liquids & these the thinner & sharper
