RN Mr Turveys \of Wicken/ vomyt gave him eight reasonable grat vomits. his purge gave him 6 stooles on vomyt & aftr his vomyt some 3 stooles more more bound after his physick hath bene let blood. & it was very blue full of melancholy blood sinc his letting blood his wynd collicke \in his/ backe & syde mutch eased. & nowe cōplayneth as before w^th a rūning humour in his feete & desyres when tyme shall serve to blede them.

RN I receaved a letter frō S^r Anthony Tyrringhā march 14 ☉ h. 2. 30 p m 1613.

RN My Cosen Marsh the older sent me a kind letter to signify y^t after my clyster & blood letting she was well for 4 days & then payned as before in her hed & arme so greevously betwixt 4 & 5 p m cōnoly {sic} Sept 14. ♀ h. 5. 30 p m 1627 she sent to Cambridg to M^r Crane he gave her a pils|l| & also a clyster

RN M^r Henry Hanson sent vnto me Apr. 6. ☾ h. 1|3|. 12. 1607 to signify that his wife cā have no remedy for her tooth ach & that her pils wrought extremely as if shee should dye w^th them.

RN Goodmā|dy| Nueman of Brodwell. of 45 yeres of age found mutch ease by y^t w^c phisick w^c was given her & wrought vpward & downeward w^th her & shee was very prety well after it for 2 or 3 days. &|b|ut st the thirde day after it tooke her agayne & she is mutch troubled w^th the winde cholick & w^th a hot & drye stomacke. & sent her daugh{t}{er} agayne to me. Aug. 26. die ♄ h. 12. 30. 1598.

SRN M^rs. Cotta of Coventrey. sent her ler Novemƀ. 14. ♄ h. 10. a. m. 1635.

The vomitt did worke, vpward & 5 tymes downeward. the pills wrought well & she was let blood arme & Foote:

hath not had y^em since March Last, now finds her Liuer distemperd & a payne there. desires the opening drinke or the receipt

RN Davy Deery of Bydnā 17. y. may St Davyes day in y^e morning sent to me for his lamenes y^t last miklemas was so lame y^t n in all his body & lims & could not styr. & on warner w^th whō he Dwelled. the yere before & now he had mised to dwell w^th him yet Anoth^r gote him thenc & his former m^r Warner sayd he had bene as good he had dwelt w^th him & then grew lame & would not styr in or frō his bed. came to me monday was 3 weekes or a month for y^t had a purge & then he mended more & more & now is fallen into y^e bottome of his feete this senet & ankles & is very sore. pricketh & shooteth standing nothing to be sene may 6 {illeg} {sic} ♃ h. 10 30 ant m 1619

by her sleeping & scouring she hath nutch {sic} mended sinc S^r will wrote Last y^t is thursday last.

yet the last night was more troublesome then before

this Day cōplayneth of a sournes rising out of her stomake supposeth y^t a vomyt would doe her good yet dare not to adventur it by reason of her weaknes & scowring. w^ch we dare not to stay seing the goodnes of it yet fyndeth no aptnes to cast but a soure belching

desyreth a nother box of the pils 10 and an answ to his lett & to this.

very weake & feeble yet sitteth vp & eateth p^rty well. scoureth mtch {sic} hath a soure belching yet no aptnes to cast.

would know wheath^r fit to give her a vomyt considering her \great/ weaknes & sither her scouring Doth her so mutch good craveth an answere to his forme & to this Letter also.

wheath^r any other course for mending of the sourenes will not helpe w^th out a vomyt.
