RN Gryphen Courteens a shepheard of our towne had the bloody flix two days stop wth \oak/ barke boyle broyled on a grydyron & beaten to pouder & drōke.
after had sloes & {illeg}|s|odden drōke the water & eate the slowes hath a {sic} great & a posset made wth alloum wch stayd his flix nowe hath a great payne ever since in his belly novemb 8 ☾ h 10 ant m 1602.
