there is hard mutch musicke & melodye. |this Gryphen Crocker dwelleth in y^t house hath seene lightꝭ.| the son of Elsborough 16|7||8| y sinc delivered a note out of a booke vnto Henry Gynger y^t now dwelleth at wiggynto in hartford sheere an old man of 80 yeres. as followeth.

Henry Ginger w^th in those 2 yeres when some came to seek this treasure saw a white bullocke w^thout ye eares & hornes. & others saw a feare gentlewomā. a lyon an Antlop a fyer {sic} w^th a gray cloke cast vppō his shoulders. but none could fynd the treasure./
