RN Harry Goodin taken lame in his left leg not swollen he cannot styrre his right side. in his leg & huck bone he layd in the fild Downe & being hote tooke a colde. this day or monday was sennet 17 d 16 last Christmas eve. 1598. pater  filio et filius oravit patrē. vt me consulet  morbo. Octob. 29 die ☉ h. 1. 1598. it took him in the fild as if it were prickt with nales. he cryeth out whē it is touched.

RN \Alce Knight./ Baal Goody Baal for Rogar Knights wif of Newport Lathbury 40 yeres old Alce Knight in childbed this month. not hart sicke but taken w^th a shivering in the bottome of her bodye & so cometh vpwards y^t shee cannot hold still her mouthe shee doth shiver exceedingly it holdeth all day & night. w^th some litle intermission. nor|t| hart sick nor any other where but w^th y^t shivering not churched. RN Mres Vines fell extreeme sicke of|n| thursday night the 9 of novemb. at betwixt a 11 & 12. at night after the members of the howse had bene at bed 1598. I set it of myne owne accord they thought shee would have died y^t night. it holdeth her by fits prety well a friday ill on satterd. & prety well on sunday & monday but ill on tuesday following.

RN Elisabeth Sandons the daught^r of Iohn Sandon ded & deted & moth^r. her vnkle came for her at Woulverton 9 yeres old amisse this fortnight they suppose it to have bene an ague. very sleepy & Drowsy. cōplayneth of her hed & belly. Novemb. 17. die ♀ h. 10. 15. mi. 1598.

RN Iohn Becham of 6 yeres old or 7. about wheate harvest or first lad{ye} this child is troubled w^th a Cough & hoping so sore y^t it forceth him to cast vp his meate. he hath a good stomack to eate & digest his meate but his cough fetcheth all vp againe from the bottome of his belly. pater  filio sine consensu. November 28 die ♂ h. 9. 1598.

RN Rich Kerby Miller of Newport 60 \56/ yeres old. long & grevously sick {filiu}s  patre \{servus}  Domino/ cū euꝯ {sic} consensu it hath held this 4 yeres by fits but this quarter of this yere held him sorely & keepeth home some days his bed in his fit & then abroad. a payne in his hart w^th a sighing black coloured very fat of his face but w^th this sicknes shrunk in his bodye & legs. M^r yarrow for him novemb. {sic} 1 Decēb. die ♀ h. 10. 15. 1598¹
