Hath a Childe of 2 yeere old sucking on her, the childe very poore & will take nothing but the brest can neither go nor speake: borne the saturday fortnight after midsomer 1601 betwene 8 & 9 at night quiet in the day but very vnquiett all night. very cold, swelled in the body of late. the mother nunquā habuit menstrua since she had this child.

RN a rising vp ready to choake her voydeth vp flegme & blood & swoundeth often sinc last night about nine & cānot speake feb 2. ☿ h. 9 p m 163i |body swelled| /speachles\ /An Impost feared\ |neav^r had child|

RN An Bourton of Olny 26 yeres old. sick the ever sinc Lent tooke her in her hed hart & backe maried this 7 yeres had but on Child but y^t god hath taken to his mercy. {s} {sic} it holdeth her nowe as an ague shaking her every day. & hat sweateth & is very hot after the shaking & hath as it were a thing lūbring in her chest very corpulent faynt & very feeble. hath a very painfull cough ready to Drawe vp hart & hall w^th it & fetcheth blood very short winded. fetcheth vp fleume & water as cleare as a bell. GJ M^r Adrian Fortescue and m^rs Mary Fortescue have taken thrice of their physicke and wrought well w^th them, the gentlewoman sicke the first taking, and well since, her stomack better, but her head as it was

M^r Adrian sicke w^th his physicke on monday last and tooke none since he sleepes not well, is growen weake and his waxen kernells remayne. / my Lady thinkꝭ that if he continue so it will bring him to a consumption She desyres to have some course for m^r willm Fortescue 10 y. w^ch hath also an Itche. Desyres to be satisfyed how this Itche comes whether by overheating the bloud w^th violent exercise. & whether they shall continue the rest of the physike.
