RN Iune 8 . h 2. 20. p m hor I went to Mr Byrds & aftr a good supper we had talke of the crosse of Ihūs christ & greate Disputation. wheathr it ough{t} to be vsed in baptisme I or noe. they Denyed it I {ass}{u}med it they held it as a popish & a wicked ceremony. this Disputation was betwixt 8 & 9 of the clocke & about after 9 of the clocke on came to Mr Byrd{s} f|t|o me for physicke wch met wth on that Directed him vppon the stone bridge & told him he should fynde me at Mr Byrds house Iune 8 hor 8. 30 p m. 1602.

RN Mudge my brothr leaches vicar longe since, came to see me to my howse being as Drunke as he could holde & so lay at Dore pratling & he co knew not what the 9 of Novemb. h die h. 6. after p m. at night. 1598. this night & the next day following a great whistling bustling winde a wavering roving vnsetled inconstant fellowe given to roving & wandring.1
