RN Iohn Risely of Rawnson sent onc againe to me for my counsell his pain lieth now in his Cods {w^c} are swollen as big as ons hed & as hard as a borde he was wont to haue them swollen very big but then lasted but 5 houres & nowe swelled ever sinc weddensday he cannot eate sleepe or goe to ground. troubled w^th the wind Cholicke a paine in his backe st{illeg}ry Desirous to take a stro{illeg} but Doubteth he ca shall be able Decēb. filius  patre cū consensu. RN Andrew Knighte of Newport 36. for the winde cholicke this moneth. & stone red sand & changeth it into blood as big as a {fe}tch somewhat yellowe. forced to \purge/ fleme yellowe Chollour in great abundanc right syde of the reanes of his back & so rūneth to the bottome of his belly. vrine hot & cōplexion w^thout the fit. RN Anthony Smith for his sons Daughter 4 yeres old very exceeding sleepy can eat nothing keepeth her bed looketh pale. cōplayneth of her hed & her mouth sore & cannot swallowe. Octob. 10|1| die ♂ ♄ {sic}. 11. 25|0|. 1598.

RN Frauncis Marshall of Newport very strangly can scarce speake, only maketh signes for water to coole her her mouth is furred white w^th extreeme heate taketh her Drinke by a quill. first bound but y^t I gave her vnbound her nowe in a laske & extreeme hot & drye Decēb. 12. die ♂ h. 9. 30. mi ant m 1598. troubled in her sleepe.

RN Alce Buttyphant of Chichly borne a fortnight a fore Miklemas day on {sic} a tuesday on wedensday even about an houre or 2 after sonset pater  filio {sic} came to me almost dead on sct Thomas eve. troubled w^th the Chin cough. RN Iohn Orrish about a & {sic} hundred yeres old a poer Carpenter of Woulson he hath never sinc friday evening ma{illeg} made water. being the fir{st} of Septemb. at 9. nowe seeketh a remedy this 5 of Sept the Daught^r for the fath^r but w^th hi{s} consent. he is nowe sw{ol}len & casteth vp his mea{te} & drink. he cannot pisse 1598. 8. 15. ant m die ♂ h. 8. 15. RN Will: Miller of Brodwell: cōplayneth of the roling & tūbling of his belly mawe as he thinketh on his stomacke. & every day he vomiteth vp his meate & cannot digest it his meate yet he findeth som ease after he hath vomited it vp: he is best when he eateth nothing but fasteth. he is best in y^e aforenoone. RN Margaret Archer of Calverton’ 34 yeres quærit remediū 7 of novemb die ♂ ♄ {sic}. 9. 6. mi. 1598 shee hath her bene maried this 20 yere nev^r had child shee hath them every three weekes but after thick of hearing stopt in the chest meate hath not his passage Downe a cold body & stomacke.

RN Iohn Becham of 6 yeres old or 7. about wheate harvest or first lad{ye} this child is troubled w^th a Cough & hoping so sore y^t it forceth him to cast vp his meate. he hath a good stomack to eate & digest his meate but his cough fetcheth all vp againe from the bottome of his belly. pater  filio sine consensu. November 28 die ♂ h. 9. 1598.

RN Iane Smithe 30 yeres old sc of haversham sick this sennet. scoureth mutch this 2 days. Dry, will nothing mouth sore water high coloured. well blooded woman Novemb. 30. die ♃ h. 9. 1598. h. 9. 18. m. ant m. 1598. a stitch vnder her right side. shee sucketh her child mutch payne in her hed & cannot sleepe.

RN Goody Dormer of haversham s {sic} sent her water by her some {sic} in lawe Iohn Smith. faynt & weake still. Decemb. 1. die ♀ h. 9. 1598.

RN Ihone Smith for her Daught^r who hath voyded 19 wormes & Doth vomit vp every thing it tooke her againe on friday last Decēb. 12. die ♂ h. 8. 15. ant m. 1598. a good water but full of cloudes.

RN Iohn Risely of Rawnstyn 63|7|. {sic} 67. hath bene sick on weddensday last 6 weekes sound in body but bursten this 16 weekes. he was wont to be troubled w^th a wind Cholick. nowe last of l {sic} all w^th an issue on his navell eaten in an Inche deepe but nowe growen vp againe saving that it hath a litle hole in it w^c when they went to stoppe it put him in danger of death. sent his sonne to me he kepeth his bed nowe & then payned in his back & pricking & shooting in his navell {virs} an end. bleedeth every foote & wetteth a handkerchir.
