M^r Knifton of Lowton 55 yeres old sick this 3 weekes {illeg} sunday last first in his stomack w^th an extreeme cold w^c tooke a way his stomack ache in the head neck & legs sweateth div^rse times & after troubled w^th an itch as exceeded greatly onc in two or 3 days to grounde. nev^r vomiteth. the 3 of Ian. die ☿ h. 9. 15. 1598. {sic} 1599. bad head greefe taken {in} lawe.

RN \Alce Knight./ Baal Goody Baal for Rogar Knights wif of Newport Lathbury 40 yeres old Alce Knight in childbed this month. not hart sicke but taken w^th a shivering in the bottome of her bodye & so cometh vpwards y^t shee cannot hold still her mouthe shee doth shiver exceedingly it holdeth all day & night. w^th some litle intermission. nor|t| hart sick nor any other where but w^th y^t shivering not churched. M^r Mathewe Anslowes Daughter troubled w^th an ague hot & cold it taketh her every other day. & it holdeth her halfe a daye & taketh her in her bed. co every day onc to ground but it is hard ever sinc friday was fortnight. 27 of March. die ♂ h. 10. 15. m ant m: 1599. troubled mutch with fleume.
