RN Elisabeth Brawne 29 of yeres old of Chichly 8 yeres maried 7 yeres sick in all tꝭ of her bodye. most troubled in he {sic} hed. sometimes well & sometime ill. last night. about the full of the moone {was} troubled. N Decemb. {1.} {die} ♀ h. 1. 15|9|. 1598 with Child as I suppose breeding now breeding of child. 5 weekes.

RN An Plummer about 40 sick every foote in the mould of her hed. sometimes on her bed sometimes by the fier of Broughton brought very lowe w^th it. quærit Decēb 8 die ♀ h. 11. 50. mi. 1598. 45 yeres old

RN \Alce Knight./ Baal Goody Baal for Rogar Knights wif of Newport Lathbury 40 yeres old Alce Knight in childbed this month. not hart sicke but taken w^th a shivering in the bottome of her bodye & so cometh vpwards y^t shee cannot hold still her mouthe shee doth shiver exceedingly it holdeth all day & night. w^th some litle intermission. nor|t| hart sick nor any other where but w^th y^t shivering not churched. Octob. 30. die ☾. h. 12. 1598. her teeth chatter in her hed.

RN Iudith Anslye 17 yeres old. shee walketh vp & Downe complayneth of her hed hath not her Courses Decemb 4. die ☾ h. 10. 30. mi. 1598 |pater  filia cū consensu.|

RN Edmund Hauckings of Newport 47|8| yeres old came to me reasonable well for ought I could ceave amisse & not sound in body any time 10 yees {sic} commonly at this time of the yeare but taketh him at Alhollantide & holdeth him vnto the springe of the yeare. came for my consell him selfe this 15 of Decemb^r die ♀ h. 9. 54. 1598. of a high reddish Colour of a black hed & beard. this disease hath greeved him a Chilly Cold in his hed.

RN Goody Fisher sent her water to me to know what was good for her Aug. 14. die ☾ h. 7. 45 shee is troubled w^th the mother & was wont to swound w^th it very often. at 7. 30. 20.¹

RN Margaret Billington who dwelt w^th Thomas Billington of Bletchly first cosens nowe Dwelleth w^t M^r Vuedale came awaye for a payne of her hed ache back neck & newe at her hart ever since harvest never a daye well Novemb. the 12 die ☉ h. 12. 20. mi 1598 20 yeres old in p^rsenc her selfe.

RN Iohn Androwes of Willan 44 yeres old maried about xx yeres. sick by fits this moneth. in his hed yesterday this day keepeth his bed & sometimes so ill y^t he knoweth not what he doth. a very fat faced man. Novemb^r 19. die ☉. h. 8. 39. mi. 1598 a gydines in his hed.

RN Iohn Connyngham 7 yeres old satterday sennet after miklemas daye sick this 12 moneth. cōplayneth most of his hed & hath a weake stomack. was wonte to have white water leeke dregs of a tub. very thick of a pale & whitish Colour. a longe visage. Decēb. 4. h. 11. the child came hither.

RN Iohn Bynion of Wouson magna 3 yeres old vppō Miklemas last day last in the after noone betwixt 2 & 3. p m. pater quærit  filio male se habet capite pectore water very white s face pale leane bodyed sick ever sinc he was borne a quart^r old full of bleache Decēb. 8. die ♀ h. 9. 45 ant m. 1598

RN Agnes Miller of Newport sick ever sinc Miklemas. 30 yeres old troubled w^th fleume w^th a quivering & trembling in her body as it were w^th a palsye. w^th a gret rising in her stomacke hed novemb. 7. die ♂ h p. m. 3. a whitish water before it was turned full of heres spotꝭ & dregs thin & yellowish

RN Iane Smithe 30 yeres old sc of haversham sick this sennet. scoureth mutch this 2 days. Dry, will nothing mouth sore water high coloured. well blooded woman Novemb. 30. die ♃ h. 9. 1598. h. 9. 18. m. ant m. 1598. a stitch vnder her right side. shee sucketh her child mutch payne in her hed & cannot sleepe.

RN Elisabeth Smith 30 yeres old 9 yeres maried. never had Child it cometh by fits twice a weeke of a good colour red faced & fill {sic} of blood lieth in her hed & so ariseth from her hart & stomack vnto her hed. her face & syde swelleth. her vrine is red & full of rags. came in her owne son & then was very well of Decemb. 4 die ☾ h. 2. 1598. dwelleth at Emerten right side of her hed.¹

RN An Miller of Newport. 30 yeres old married to a husband y^t maketh leape enquireth a remedy for her disease Septemb. 16 die ♄. h. 9. 55 ant. m. 1598. hath bene very sick this fortnight & keepeth her bed. 1598 & cannot stir but as she is helpen. a longe scouring and a palsy white water a bad hed.

RN Rich Kerby Miller of Newport 60 \56/ yeres old. long & grevously sick {filiu}s  patre \{servus}  Domino/ cū euꝯ {sic} consensu it hath held this 4 yeres by fits but this quarter of this yere held him sorely & keepeth home some days his bed in his fit & then abroad. a payne in his hart w^th a sighing black coloured very fat of his face but w^th this sicknes shrunk in his bodye & legs. M^r yarrow for him novemb. {sic} 1 Decēb. die ♀ h. 10. 15. 1598¹

RN Ihone Persivall of Lo{illeg} 35 yeres about 20 weekes amisse. short winded. hot in her stomack shee hath broken out in her face w^th a flushing heate. payne in her hed her neighbours tell her y^t shee may be breeding of child.. 16 of novemb. die ♃. h. 1.. 1598. broke out in her nose &|f|ace & chin w^th pimpels.
