he wrote yt his wife my neece Clare is sorely troubled wth a rising vp to her throate ready to stop her wynd & is payned in her hips & knees & was frighted wth the sight of that fearfull fire

I told her yt she should be ill the 3 of Iune ☾ sep a □ ☉ ap □ ♄ et post sep a □ ♄ ap ap {sic} □ ♂ & about h 11: at night was likely to be choaked wth a pill yt was given her to keepe her from swounding
