Mres An Barber sept 28 ☿ hor. 9. 15 ant m. 1603. strangly handled w^th her stomack burning & gnawing & then an intolerable paine of her hed for 20 houres not well for 40 houre & then it cōmeth once in a weeke in the wynter. & aft^r hath a swelling & a gnawing in the calfꝭ of her legs.

RN Iohn Phylip sick ever sinc thursday being the 30 of Decēb \novemb/ sent to me agayne the 4 of Decemb sick very greevously in his hart & body he is swelled in his body from the belly vnto his hart. he is Costive & so hath cōtinued ever sinc thursday last & is very exceeding ill & weeke. his fath^r moved a question at the same time or a quart^r after 9. for a payne in his knee w^c was broken his thigh was broken quite thorough & nowe the paine is fallen into his knee pan & is swollen.

RN Williā Lovely of Newport 60. greeped & tormented at the harte ready to make him selfe away & of his brest: the 15 of Martij die ♃. h. 9 metuit venefic: 1599 hed & face swelleth.

RN Iohn Trueman of Willing i9 come lāmas. hath a swellinge in his legs fallen downe lately w^thin this sennet his \belly & body/ was before swollen. he hath taken phisick this 4 yeres. & hath taken Drinkꝭ of many & of M^r Glover of Northampton. Drinkes losing him y^t hath had taken a diet losing Drinke for 3 days fasting & had 2 cakes & hath in a day. his excrementꝭ looke white & his face & eyes all yellowe but a fully faced youthe. 24 of Apr. die ♂ h. 9. 30 p m {sic}. 1599. cathed it w^th a wet & cold. faynt & feeble.

M^r Adams of Stachden well recovered but his mouth is very soare the skyn of his stomack is so hot faynt & sickly a bad stomack Iune 7 h {sic} hor 9 ant m 1617 desyrous of a cool{in}g syrope or other cōforta{ter}

TG Ann stapp of stonystreetford 16 y. Mart. 15. h. 9. Mat. 1634. hath beene sicke this 14night. on wensday a stitch in her right side began, & now is pained in all her body. Exceedy|i|ng hote. Keepeth her bed can hardly stirre.

M^r Knifton of Lowton 55 yeres old sick this 3 weekes {illeg} sunday last first in his stomack w^th an extreeme cold w^c tooke a way his stomack ache in the head neck & legs sweateth div^rse times & after troubled w^th an itch as exceeded greatly onc in two or 3 days to grounde. nev^r vomiteth. the 3 of Ian. die ☿ h. 9. 15. 1598. {sic} 1599. bad head greefe taken {in} lawe.

RN Elisabeth Clarke 30 yeres vnmaried ever sinc Christmas hed backe chest a few on satterday on sunday had not her Courses currantly sinc Christ. sick at hart hoven in her chest. shoulders & hed. casteth black geare leek browne black paper leeke rags y^t is her flowers arising. Apr. 3 die ♂ h. 9. 15. 1599. cannot rest in her bed hath a wonderfull red colour & is hot.

GJ Elsabeth Hayes of Turvy 43 y Octob. 18 ♂ ho. 9. 50 a m. 1603. |wind in the stomacke.| A dry Cough An Itche and as it were a dry scurfe. Hath a Childe of 2 yeere old sucking on her, the childe very poore & will take nothing but the brest can neither go nor speake: borne the saturday fortnight after midsomer 1601 betwene 8 & 9 at night quiet in the day but very vnquiett all night. very cold, swelled in the body of late. the mother nunquā habuit menstrua since she had this child.
