RN Margaret Tarelton \Thorne/ the wife of Will Tarelton a tealer \of Newport./ 40 yeres old 16 yeres maried sick & hath had her disease growing vppon her this 12 monets {sic} & better quærit novemb. it taketh her every foote. Novemb. 13 die ☾. h. 12. 6. mi 1598. shee was so weak shee could not come but sent her servant mead it ariseth from her hart vpward to her throot ready to stop her winde

RN Iohn Phylip sick ever sinc thursday being the 30 of Decēb \novemb/ sent to me agayne the 4 of Decemb sick very greevously in his hart & body he is swelled in his body from the belly vnto his hart. he is Costive & so hath cōtinued ever sinc thursday last & is very exceeding ill & weeke. Decēber. 4. \die ☾./ h: 9. 15. ant m. 1598 his hart \is good/ & his tonge talketh cheerf but his body swelled.

RN vrsula Thorpe of Stony stratford keepeth the bull. hipwell vnkle vnto Thorpe 32 yeres old sick ever sinc mikelmas goeth abroade. Dece {sic} sent by M^r Oliv^r Barker. for his wife sister is her moth^r in frendship & kindred Doubteth wheath^r shee be bewitched & hath a canker in her tongue & tented shee hath an ill stomacke & spitteth putrifyed bloode. RN Richard Māning of Hartwell 20 yeres sick this 7 weekes & can doe not doe any thing taketh him leeke an ague & when it cōmeth w^th a shaking colde & going away it maketh him as it were blind it so troubleth his hed. sent this 18 of Apr: die ☿ h. 1. 2|1|5. m pnn {sic} 1599.

RN G {sic} Ione Hatch of Simpson 53. payned in her hed & back & every where. & hath a great mist over her eyes. / sent to me for phisick was vp taketh her as an ague very Cold. & litle hot. Apr 27. die ♀ h. 3. ps m {sic}. 1599.

RN at this time Mary Pen of Straford sent me her water. w^ch was full of motes & scales & had gravell in the bottome. her former phisick I gave her wrought vpward. hath a great gydines at in her heade hart feeble bellye.

RN Chrystopher Woodfild lying long sicke wrote \sente/ vnto me to come to him martij 31. ♃ hor. 1. {p}|15| p m 1603. troubled w^th a shortnes of wynd ready to stop his wynd an aso{illeg}|m|a. hed gydye a burning in his body desyrous to have his neighbours forgive him as making no oth^r reckning then of death.

RN Mres Rolt \Iane Rolt/ of Bonyst sent to me to know wheath^r shee be w^th child or no Apr. 19 ♀ h. 11. 15 ant m. 1605. y {sic} 29 y.

It is pyned & cōsumed belly hard & voydeth wormes living 6. wasteth in the body. was nurced by goody Keburne. goody Keburne came into another nurces house & would needes suckle it, wheath^r the nurce would or no & sinc mutch amys & it swounded twice to day belly very hard flesh quite wasted was not well tended by goody Keburne face swelled buttocke black & blewe. cānot stand vppon the lyms the child p^rsent w^th goody Alton of Moulsoe it did batle well vnder this nurce vntill goody Keburne her former nurce would suckle it force tooke some surfet.
