RN Iohn Phylip sick ever sinc thursday being the 30 of Decēb \novemb/ sent to me agayne the 4 of Decemb sick very greevously in his hart & body he is swelled in his body from the belly vnto his hart. he is Costive & so hath cōtinued ever sinc thursday last & is very exceeding ill & weeke. Decēber. 4. \die ☾./ h: 9. 15. ant m. 1598 his hart \is good/ & his tonge talketh cheerf but his body swelled.

RN Iohn Risely of Rawnstyn 63|7|. {sic} 67. hath bene sick on weddensday last 6 weekes sound in body but bursten this 16 weekes. he was wont to be troubled w^th a wind Cholick. nowe last of l {sic} all w^th an issue on his navell eaten in an Inche deepe but nowe growen vp againe saving that it hath a litle hole in it w^c when they went to stoppe it put him in danger of death. sent his sonne to me he kepeth his bed nowe & then payned in his back & pricking & shooting in his navell {virs} an end. bleedeth every foote & wetteth a handkerchir. Novemb. 13 die ☾. h. 12. 6. mi 1598. shee was so weak shee could not come but sent her servant mead it ariseth from her hart vpward to her throot ready to stop her winde

RN Mres Margaret Noone a londyner y^t came vnto me w^th M^r Iohn lanckford sent me word y^t her 2 clysters wrought but litle but y^t her dyet drinke did worke well & did her some good for her cold stomack. but y^t her flushing in her face cōtinueth still. as also her swelling espec on the right syde of her bellye craveth my furth^r helpe. would know wheath^r fit to give her a vomyt considering her \great/ weaknes & sither her scouring Doth her so mutch good craveth an answere to his forme & to this Letter also.

wheath^r any other course for mending of the sourenes will not helpe w^th out a vomyt.
