RN Mres Elis Throckmorton. sent me a letter to certify me y^t her physick wrought very well & y^t her stomacke is freed frō Her old payne & y^t she hath & doth vse good exercise yet not w^thstanding looketh pale / Octob. 9. ☾ h. 10. ant m. 16i5

RN M^r Alway had \2/ horse leac\h/es fastned to the emrod vaynes Apr. 26. ♀ h. 4. 15. p m 1605. w^ch drew well but the next day felt him selfe worse aft^r it in his syde & could not take any rest on sunday night yet felt him selfe well after it & bled well.

Hee tooke not the vomite y^t was sent. 1 because hee is very vnapt to vomite; 2 because his neck is longe & brest somewhat straite; 3 because vomiteinge once by chance by reason of Tobacco blowne into his mouth it brought vp Bloud w^th it, & hath beene y^e cause of all his infirmity. 4 hee suspecteth his Lunges, for w^ch hee thinkes vomiteing is very hurtfull.

Took his purge w^ch gaue him 12 occasions. Hee desireth a Course to bee vsed for his Brest & Lunges.

by her sleeping & scouring she hath nutch {sic} mended sinc S^r will wrote Last y^t is thursday last.

this Day cōplayneth of a sournes rising out of her stomake supposeth y^t a vomyt would doe her good yet dare not to adventur it by reason of her weaknes & scowring. w^ch we dare not to stay seing the goodnes of it yet fyndeth no aptnes to cast but a soure belching

desyreth a nother box of the pils 10 and an answ to his lett & to this.

very weake & feeble yet sitteth vp & eateth p^rty well. scoureth mtch {sic} hath a soure belching yet no aptnes to cast.

would know wheath^r fit to give her a vomyt considering her \great/ weaknes & sither her scouring Doth her so mutch good craveth an answere to his forme & to this Letter also.

wheath^r any other course for mending of the sourenes will not helpe w^th out a vomyt.

RN Goodmā|dy| Nueman of Brodwell. of 45 yeres of age found mutch ease by y^t w^c phisick w^c was given her & wrought vpward & downeward w^th her & shee was very prety well after it for 2 or 3 days. &|b|ut st the thirde day after it tooke her agayne & she is mutch troubled w^th the winde cholick & w^th a hot & drye stomacke. & sent her daugh{t}{er} agayne to me. Aug. 26. die ♄ h. 12. 30. 1598.

RN M^r Th. Quatermā of StoakeTalmage 33 y Iuly 6. ☿ h. 5. 20 p m. 1631. he sent here to fore 3 tyms for a swelling in his right arme & right foot as if it would teare him in peeces /head well & stomack\

RN Lewis vpowen of Bric{k}|h|ill sick in his navell sent to me againe for former phisick did but give him 3 stooles and all Downeward. Apr 26. die ♃ h. 11. ant m 1599. water i{illeg}|ve|ry red & thick leeke puddle miserablely tormented. 1599
