RN William Malins came home even nowe very sick. on told him it was the winde cholick August. 2i die ♂ h. 4. 12. m p m. 1599 |his disease took him vppō thursday last|

he wilbe 24 yeres old 5 weekes afore christmas borne on a sunday morninge before breake a daye

RN The lady lovet of Soulbery 30 feb. 25. h {sic} h7|ora| 7 p. m 1609 |long sicke Wynd cholick miserablely tormented|

RN Iohn Risely of Rawnsen very sick last night & vexed w^th the wind cholick but some what mended the elect of ros wrought the other wrought not at all enquireth wheathr {sic} he {s}ha{ll} live. 21 of Decēb. die ♃. h. 8. 9. 1598

RN M^r Chāberlyn of Wicken son 30 y D {sic} Ian. 3. ♀ h. 11. ant m 1611 {sic} tooke his purge & pils. & wrought sorely many stooles & is very sick & ill after them. & troubled w^th mutch wyndynes of stomack & flushing heate.

RN Agnes Miller of 45. yeres old hath had an old Desier Disease as shee thincketh of the winde cholick ready to stop there winde lieth at her harte this every daye of the weeke. the rūning. of the reanes

August the 12 die ♄ h. post m ant m. 8. 34 mi for Agnes Miller who hath bene troubled w^th the rūning of her reanes & so also her husb: for the space of this 4 yeares & her mother w^th the winde cholick. whiles she had her termes shee was a sound woman but sinc never having thē shee hath bene mutch distempered w^th the rūning of the reanes

RN Iohn Phylip of Bletcley very extreeme sick bound & very Costive the last phisick would not work w^th him as Doct^r Spark writeth me, nowe again sendeth to me. this 9 of Decēb^r die ♄. h. 12. 15. 1598. troubled w^th the wind cholicke

RN M^r Will: Co{l|e|}lles Colles of Parke berrye of 58 troubled sick this i6 yeres & hath had the Counsell of the most exte phisitions troubled w^th a windy cause as he sayth cōming from his backe by a great heate & obstruction from my liver. also w^th a bad stomacke elevating winde into my hed. w^ch causeth gydines or streming in my head w^ch cometh as he thinketh by the ascending vp of bad & melancholy humours & w^th a shaking in my left hand mightely as it were the palsye but always very hotte. nowe of late w^th the brevity of wind in my stomacke & chest & lately w^th a mūmnes {sic} & tinckling in my hands. lips & sydes & face. this 15 of may. die ♂ h. 4. 45. p m. 1599.

RN M^r Blundell enquireth what his disease the cause therof & the remedy & he cōplayneth of the winde cholick & seemeth to be troubled w^th stone & strangury. August the 12 die ♄. h. 8. ant m. 1598.

RN my lady came \Maunsell/ showed me her wat^r Ian 24 ♀ h 10. 30 ant m. 1606. who was at my lady Chaynes howse at Drayton 35 y. a long visage leane & yellowish full of melanch. long sick & casteth every foote mutch reds. &|w|^ch trouble her mutch. & cōtinew long also whitꝭ but the {sic} weaken not yet have cōtinewed longe w^ch come 3 days before the red. casteth mutch faynt & feeble mutch wynd costive /Lady Maunsell. 35 y.\

RN Agnes Rutland of Newnton Longfild. 53. sick this day fortnight. payned in her hed harte & all the body over. cannot abide vp: costive onc in 2 or 3 days. maij 1. die ♂ h. 12. 10. m. 1599.
