NOTE908: Notebook (Document)

Consideracons in the behalf of Mr Ruly wch may induce Mr Troughton to bestowe some competent portion vpon him for his maintenaunce

First, in regard that he the said Mr Ruly sold his house in Linford to the said Mr Troughton for xxxli whereas he was before offered for it by mr Longland xlli and a gownes cloth for his wife. wch house Mr Troughton sold againe and made lxli of it. The reason why mr Ruly sold it to him for xxxli was in regard that he the said mr Troughton would not suffer him to sell it to any other alleage{illeg}|in|ge that he had a recognisaunce fro of his father to leave him xxxli after his decease wch being not formed he threatned to extend his recognizaunce vpon mr Rulyes house being t of his fathers land bound therevnto

2 In regard of a promise made by Mr Troughton to him that if he could helpe him to CCli for his sonage at Linford he would bestowe xli vpon him. wch sōme he hath received for it, imploying him in the same

3 In regard of his|M|r Troughtons speeches that he is Desyrous {illeg}|his| daughters to be bestowed in service for their prfermt and not to live at home wth him. Although his daughters worke are the meanes of his maintenaunce and his wi{illeg}|f|es, yet Considering that it is their hinderaunce If it please Mr Troughton to bestowe xxli on him he could find meanes to live wthout his daughters
