Elis Guddridg of Northāpton 50 y Ap 21. ♀ h. 11. 38 ant m 1620. sciatica a yere shooting downe into the bottome of her belly & towards the mydle of her backe this halfe yere payneth her most grevously twice a day at each tyme 2 houes {sic}.

RN Mres Leate sent her {sic} \a letter in the behalfe of her/ daughter Iane who hath for this twelfemonthe bene troubled w^th a swelling about her gr{y}|o|yne sometys appearing & sometyms not but gone first white & 2 months since burning red & hard almost as big as an egge

she layd to it a litle wax & butter & now & then a poultis of milke & a weddensday last was senet it broke about the 12 of Ap desyrous to have my counsell the 20^th of Apr h. 5. 30 pm 1620 It is broken & did run & voyd filthy \yellow/ stuffe

enquireth the ca{use} & what remedy

wheath^r this defect ceed not as well frō the husb. as the wife. by reason there wanteth only the shape thought good to goe to the spawe for thē boath & what I think therof. what best for dyet. & hereafter what physick & for y^e p^rsent wheather cond elect or losenges.
