RN William Tomson of 12 yeres on a friday a moneth afore Miklemas quærit valde ægrotat ventre. 6 of novemb. it tooke him on 2 of novemb. die ♃ in the morning. he it cometh & taketh him by fits & & {sic} ariseth vp in his stomack he could not take his meate. but would vomit vp but y^t is stayd & troubleth his hed but most his belly burneth wonderfully cannot eate. RN Will: Miller of Brodwell: cōplayneth of the roling & tūbling of his belly mawe as he thinketh on his stomacke. & every day he vomiteth vp his meate & cannot digest it his meate yet he findeth som ease after he hath vomited it vp: he is best when he eateth nothing but fasteth. he is best in y^e aforenoone. RN William Downing \of filgrave/ of the his child Abigayle a yere & 3 quarters. old. very sick for 3 houre{s} when it taketh it at 2 a clock morning & at 12 it vomiteth whatsoever it taketh the Drinke & sucke it taketh & handleth very ill for the space of 3 houres Aug 27. die ☉ h. 3. 1598 quærit remediū it loketh pale as ashes at p philgrave.

RN Andrew Knighte of Newport 36. for the winde cholicke this moneth. & stone red sand & changeth it into blood as big as a {fe}tch somewhat yellowe. forced to \purge/ fleme yellowe Chollour in great abundanc right syde of the reanes of his back & so rūneth to the bottome of his belly. vrine hot & cōplexion w^thout the fit. Novemb. 8. die ☿ h. 3. 2. 52. m. p m. 1598. extreeme payne in side & backe.

RN Ihone Brinckloe hath had her flowers stopt this 2 moneths first s{und}ay in {cleme fecit} 42 old. 2 houres afore daye Decēb. 1598. extreeme coughe day & night & very cold. vomiteth vp all.

RN Mary Nichols of Newport of 26 y. die {sic} Aug. 10. h. 10. 6. m. ant m enquireth what is good to take away the an arising in the l out of the chest ready to stop her throote.

RN Alce Denton of haversham 36. maried this 10 yeres 3 children last childe had a yere & more agoe feareth lest shee have taken a cold w^th a nurcing child an old Disease ever since shee was a servant a great payne at her harte, doth vomit ever sinc shee was maried {b} twice or thrice in a yere but very mutch this last weeke & never well vntill shee have it vp, els very sicke. a pert woman. sent to me by her husband this 17 of Decēb. die ☉. 9 – 18.. 1598.. best a bed.

RN Agnes Miller of Newport sick ever sinc Miklemas. 30 yeres old troubled w^th fleume w^th a quivering & trembling in her body as it were w^th a palsye. w^th a gret rising in her stomacke hed novemb. 7. die ♂ h p. m. 3. a whitish water before it was turned full of heres spotꝭ & dregs thin & yellowish

RN Clement Springe natus 1542 Aug 23. die ☿ h. post merid int^r h. 11. Barthelemeu eve. this may when when {sic} he was 53 f did vomit bloode & hath ever since vomited still blood. 1542.

RN Margaret Tarelton \Thorne/ the wife of Will Tarelton a tealer \of Newport./ 40 yeres old 16 yeres maried sick & hath had her disease growing vppon her this 12 monets {sic} & better quærit novemb. it taketh her every foote. Novemb. 13 die ☾. h. 12. 6. mi 1598. shee was so weak shee could not come but sent her servant mead it ariseth from her hart vpward to her throot ready to stop her winde

RN Elisabeth Smith 30 yeres old 9 yeres maried. never had Child it cometh by fits twice a weeke of a good colour red faced & fill {sic} of blood lieth in her hed & so ariseth from her hart & stomack vnto her hed. her face & syde swelleth. her vrine is red & full of rags. came in her owne son & then was very well of Decemb. 4 die ☾ h. 2. 1598. dwelleth at Emerten right side of her hed.¹
