RN Goody Iounson of Newp found mutch good by the v|g|entle purge sent her. gods name be blessed for it. & is desyrous to know wheath^r an easy vomyt or a nother like purge would not be good for her/

S^r Th. {toake} 4 days thrie {sic} a day & it night 8 tymes a daye & is sinc s{illeg} growen very hot. would know wheath^r he may take of it any longer.

but he loathed the quantity of a pint. desyreth {to} take lesser Draughts & craveth my letter to satisfye him

very weake & feeble yet sitteth vp & eateth p^rty well. scoureth mtch {sic} hath a soure belching yet no aptnes to cast.

would know wheath^r fit to give her a vomyt considering her \great/ weaknes & sither her scouring Doth her so mutch good craveth an answere to his forme & to this Letter also.

wheath^r any other course for mending of the sourenes will not helpe w^th out a vomyt.
