RN Rich Kerby Miller of Newport 60 \56/ yeres old. long & grevously sick {filiu}s  patre \{servus}  Domino/ cū euꝯ {sic} consensu it hath held this 4 yeres by fits but this quarter of this yere held him sorely & keepeth home some days his bed in his fit & then abroad. a payne in his hart w^th a sighing black coloured very fat of his face but w^th this sicknes shrunk in his bodye & legs. RN Thomas Marchell of Newport 34 yeres old. (Frauncis Marchell of Newport \24. yeres old./ very sicke ever sinc tuesday night at 8 & 30 mi p m. tooke her sicknes nowe & then vp but cannot stay vp. Decemb. 1 die ♀ h. 4 45. 1598. cū consensu serva  domina.

RN Ihon Phylip at Bletlhy {sic} 42. yeres a married man sick th but this weeke sick very mutch in his body. made his will yesterday sent him self this 3 of Decēb. die ☉ h. 2. 1598. he hath not gone to ground never sinc he sickned

RN Iohn Phylip sick ever sinc thursday being the 30 of Decēb \novemb/ sent to me agayne the 4 of Decemb sick very greevously in his hart & body he is swelled in his body from the belly vnto his hart. he is Costive & so hath cōtinued ever sinc thursday last & is very exceeding ill & weeke. Decēber. 4. \die ☾./ h: 9. 15. ant m. 1598 his hart \is good/ & his tonge talketh cheerf but his body swelled.

RN Iohn Connyngham 7 yeres old satterday sennet after miklemas daye sick this 12 moneth. cōplayneth most of his hed & hath a weake stomack. was wonte to have white water leeke dregs of a tub. very thick of a pale & whitish Colour. a longe visage. Decēb. 4. h. 11. the child came hither.

RN Thomas Dudly nowe 5 yeres old next miklemas natus erat Sept 15. die ☉ h 1. p m. hath his health well & eateth his meate. about harvest last began to have a rising in his throte ready to stop his wind & speach in always when he beginneth to sleepe then it hath held him sinc miklemas the last time it tooke him it bete him on friday last. going to sleepe. ready to skreame & skrike in the fit.
