RN Lewis vpowen of Bric{k}|h|ill sick in his navell sent to me againe for former phisick did but give him 3 stooles and all Downeward. Apr 26. die ♃ h. 11. ant m 1599. water i{illeg}|ve|ry red & thick leeke puddle miserablely tormented. 1599

RN Mres Margaret Noone a londyner y^t came vnto me w^th M^r Iohn lanckford sent me word y^t her 2 clysters wrought but litle but y^t her dyet drinke did worke well & did her some good for her cold stomack. but y^t her flushing in her face cōtinueth still. as also her swelling espec on the right syde of her bellye craveth my furth^r helpe. Sept 5. ♂ h. 12. 1609

Mes Anne Tyringhā had 57 occas. w^th vomyt & purg & besydes 8 occas. by her pils taken to day hath a clyn|t|ching of her teeth & cānot open her teeth nor speake for halfe an houre.

Hee tooke not the vomite y^t was sent. 1 because hee is very vnapt to vomite; 2 because his neck is longe & brest somewhat straite; 3 because vomiteinge once by chance by reason of Tobacco blowne into his mouth it brought vp Bloud w^th it, & hath beene y^e cause of all his infirmity. 4 hee suspecteth his Lunges, for w^ch hee thinkes vomiteing is very hurtfull.

Took his purge w^ch gaue him 12 occasions. Hee desireth a Course to bee vsed for his Brest & Lunges.

RN M^r Alway had \2/ horse leac\h/es fastned to the emrod vaynes Apr. 26. ♀ h. 4. 15. p m 1605. w^ch drew well but the next day felt him selfe worse aft^r it in his syde & could not take any rest on sunday night yet felt him selfe well after it & bled well.

RN I receaved a letter frō S^r Anthony Tyrringhā march 14 ☉ h. 2. 30 p m 1613.

y^t hearing I am ill I should not Disease my selfe although willing to see me./ mendeth but slowly hed & stomacke./

The vomitt did worke, vpward & 5 tymes downeward. the pills wrought well & she was let blood arme & Foote:

hath not had y^em since March Last, now finds her Liuer distemperd & a payne there. desires the opening drinke or the receipt

RN Avys Bradbery was p^rtely mended w^th her playster. & after the playster it went downe into her legs & instep & now is sick at harte Iuly 25. 1611 h. 9 ant m 1611.

TG Robert Stone of Grondon 24 y. Mert {sic}. 25 ♂ h. 12 mer. 1634. he was here about candlemes & had a vomite which did easy him for a time of his cough, but now he cougheth not so much, but hath a constant paine on his right breast, which will not give him leave to cough.

The pills j sent her did worke very well & did her very much good.

hath at this tyme a great hoarsenes & straytnes in her throate. desires the note of y^e Dyet drinke. & pills.

RN M^r Chāberlyn of Wicken son 30 y D {sic} Ian. 3. ♀ h. 11. ant m 1611 {sic} tooke his purge & pils. & wrought sorely many stooles & is very sick & ill after them. & troubled w^th mutch wyndynes of stomack & flushing heate.

GJ Iulij 12. ☾ ho: 12. 20. p. m. I went to see m^rs Byrd and Came there ho. 1. p m her phisicke that she tooke yesterday gave her 17 stooles. she is sicke still very hott a payne at her right side feareth the yellow Iaundise.
