RN My Cosen Marsh the older sent me a kind letter to signify yt after my clyster & blood letting she was well for 4 days & then payned as before in her hed & arme so greevously betwixt 4 & 5 p m cōnoly {sic} Sept 14. h. 5. 30 p m 1627 she sent to Cambridg to Mr Crane he gave her a pils|l| & also a clyster

had the horse leaches & they were {illeg} naught.

took my pils & Dyet drink & did well for the tyme

her Daughter fond mtch {sic} good by her playster Desyreth a nother & a recept of it

RN Mr Turveys \of Wicken/ vomyt gave him eight reasonable grat vomits. his purge gave him 6 stooles on vomyt & aftr his vomyt some 3 stooles more more bound after his physick hath bene let blood. & it was very blue full of melancholy blood sinc his letting blood his wynd collicke \in his/ backe & syde mutch eased. & nowe cōplayneth as before wth a rūning humour in his feete & desyres when tyme shall serve to blede them.

Hee tooke not the vomite yt was sent. 1 because hee is very vnapt to vomite; 2 because his neck is longe & brest somewhat straite; 3 because vomiteinge once by chance by reason of Tobacco blowne into his mouth it brought vp Bloud wth it, & hath beene ye cause of all his infirmity. 4 hee suspecteth his Lunges, for wch hee thinkes vomiteing is very hurtfull.

Took his purge wch gaue him 12 occasions. Hee desireth a Course to bee vsed for his Brest & Lunges.
