RN Andrew Knighte of Newport 36. for the winde cholicke this moneth. & stone red sand & changeth it into blood as big as a {fe}tch somewhat yellowe. forced to \purge/ fleme yellowe Chollour in great abundanc right syde of the reanes of his back & so rūneth to the bottome of his belly. vrine hot & cōplexion w^thout the fit. RN Thom Marsholl enquireth for his Daught^r martha a yere old who hath bene payned & troubled w^th a Dire cough & pined & cōsumed in her body mutch coveteth meate but can not Digest it. Aug. 10. die ♃ h. 9. 9. mi. of Newport.

RN Frauncis Marshall of Newport very strangly can scarce speake, only maketh signes for water to coole her her mouth is furred white w^th extreeme heate taketh her Drinke by a quill. first bound but y^t I gave her vnbound her nowe in a laske & extreeme hot & drye Decēb. 12. die ♂ h. 9. 30. mi ant m 1598. troubled in her sleepe.

RN Margaret Archer of Calverton’ 34 yeres quærit remediū 7 of novemb die ♂ ♄ {sic}. 9. 6. mi. 1598 shee hath her bene maried this 20 yere nev^r had child shee hath them every three weekes but after thick of hearing stopt in the chest meate hath not his passage Downe a cold body & stomacke.

RN Iane Smithe 30 yeres old sc of haversham sick this sennet. scoureth mutch this 2 days. Dry, will nothing mouth sore water high coloured. well blooded woman Novemb. 30. die ♃ h. 9. 1598. h. 9. 18. m. ant m. 1598. a stitch vnder her right side. shee sucketh her child mutch payne in her hed & cannot sleepe.

RN Susan Blundell is now given mutch to sleeping shee slept as her moth^r told me vppo the 20^th of may. die ♄ fro that night vntill the next night follow {sic} the space of 24 houres but y^t her sleepe was interrupted w^th her vsuall fitꝭ & y^t very often. her moth^r came to tell me of it. the 22 of may die ☾. h. 7. 15. mi

RN Margeret Brace of Carington about 30 yeres old. Octob 6 die ♀ h 1|9|. \9/. 38. sick for this 3 weekes. 1598. speachles & almost Dead. about a fortnight a goe. & did bleed wonderfully

this woman sente vnto me by the vicar of Crowly but I would give her nothing vntill I had spoken w^th some y^t knew the state of the woman the vicar sent Iohn ball. the woman mended p^rsently vppon it.

RN Ihone Persivall of Lo{illeg} 35 yeres about 20 weekes amisse. short winded. hot in her stomack shee hath broken out in her face w^th a flushing heate. payne in her hed her neighbours tell her y^t shee may be breeding of child.. 16 of novemb. die ♃. h. 1.. 1598. broke out in her nose &|f|ace & chin w^th pimpels.

RN Agnes Miller of Newport sick ever sinc Miklemas. 30 yeres old troubled w^th fleume w^th a quivering & trembling in her body as it were w^th a palsye. w^th a gret rising in her stomacke hed novemb. 7. die ♂ h p. m. 3. a whitish water before it was turned full of heres spotꝭ & dregs thin & yellowish

RN Mathewe Windmill 30 yeres of age sick this two yeres in liver & milt & hart well by day working but ill always every night lieth hevy hevy {sic} in his chest y^t he cannot sleepe nor tak his rest agaynst weath^r and when he eateth flesh & porrage it heaveth vp his chest. vp from his chest to his harte. it lieth in his the pit of his stomack as if his hart & milte were broken as he him selfe thincketh it payneth him intolerable very cold never better thē when he is working cōplyneth most of chest & harte Novemb. 12 die ☉ at h. 7. 50. mi. 1598. at the first cōming he had a flushing in his hed w^t a gydines but never since

RN Mres Vines took her sicknes at Piddington 30 of maye die ♂ h. betwixt 9. & 10 walking at night in her orcharde. & it tooke away her speache & brought a palsy in her side & armes. shee had no vse of her lims. 1598. die ♂ h. 9. 30 mi. p m maij 30. 1598.¹

RN Iohn Malins a yere & a quarter lacking a fortnight as it were pined in all her lims & bodye hed a poer bare creature. cannot sleepe not at any time in a moneth or fortnight but crye and Drinke mater adduxit se{cū} filiolā veret^r ne sit maleficio v^l veneficio afflictus. Decēb. 7. die ♃ hor. 3. 30. mi. 1598 very short winded.

RN Iohn Bynion natus 1595. die ☾ 29 septēb. h 2. 30. ni. {sic} p m. 1595. troubled exceedingly w^th hed ache. & will eate but litle.

RN Mres Ruly  filia q^æ valde egrotabat in a hot ague vomiteth mutch mutch fleume & corrupt matter & hath many sharpe stitches. Aprill 12 die ☿. h. 1. 45|0| m. post merid.. her child continued many weekes sicke. 6 or 7 wekes at lenght was well.

RN Mres Blundell enquireth what is good for her Disease shee is pulled as it were in peeces hart belly sides & swollen in her stomach y^t & worse after she hath eaten or Drunken weake & feble in her body & knees. Aug. 28. die ☾ h. 5. 28 mi p. m shee shaketh & trembleth body {neck} & {yoin}tꝭ

RN An Miller of Newport. 30 yeres old married to a husband y^t maketh leape enquireth a remedy for her disease Septemb. 16 die ♄. h. 9. 55 ant. m. 1598. hath bene very sick this fortnight & keepeth her bed. 1598 & cannot stir but as she is helpen. a longe scouring and a palsy white water a bad hed.

RN An Goodrick of Lathbury 32. hed & neck pricking left side her hed was gyddye. shee had a child 9 month a goe troubled w^th a gydy hed. Novemb 2. die ♃. h. 3. 30.
