RN Margaret Tarelton \Thorne/ the wife of Will Tarelton a tealer \of Newport./ 40 yeres old 16 yeres maried sick & hath had her disease growing vppon her this 12 monets {sic} & better quærit novemb. it taketh her every foote. Novemb. 13 die ☾. h. 12. 6. mi 1598. shee was so weak shee could not come but sent her servant mead it ariseth from her hart vpward to her throot ready to stop her winde

RN Mres Vines took her sicknes at Piddington 30 of maye die ♂ h. betwixt 9. & 10 walking at night in her orcharde. & it tooke away her speache & brought a palsy in her side & armes. shee had no vse of her lims. 1598. die ♂ h. 9. 30 mi. p m maij 30. 1598.¹

RN Rich Kerby Miller of Newport 60 \56/ yeres old. long & grevously sick {filiu}s  patre \{servus}  Domino/ cū euꝯ {sic} consensu it hath held this 4 yeres by fits but this quarter of this yere held him sorely & keepeth home some days his bed in his fit & then abroad. a payne in his hart w^th a sighing black coloured very fat of his face but w^th this sicknes shrunk in his bodye & legs. M^r yarrow for him novemb. {sic} 1 Decēb. die ♀ h. 10. 15. 1598¹

RN Iohn Malins a yere & a quarter lacking a fortnight as it were pined in all her lims & bodye hed a poer bare creature. cannot sleepe not at any time in a moneth or fortnight but crye and Drinke mater adduxit se{cū} filiolā veret^r ne sit maleficio v^l veneficio afflictus. Decēb. 7. die ♃ hor. 3. 30. mi. 1598 very short winded.

RN Frauncis Marshall of Newport very strangly can scarce speake, only maketh signes for water to coole her her mouth is furred white w^th extreeme heate taketh her Drinke by a quill. first bound but y^t I gave her vnbound her nowe in a laske & extreeme hot & drye Decēb. 12. die ♂ h. 9. 30. mi ant m 1598. troubled in her sleepe.

RN Robart Pē{illeg}merton of Rudgden in the County of Northāpton. 57. keepeth his chamber. this moneth. troubled w^th a reume & fleume in his chest. March 17 die ♄. h. 7. 15. ant m. 1599. tussi magna laborat costive hot in the stomack.

RN Rich: Ellys of Hansl: of 46. {f} {sic} of his stomack thenc into his throate & hed. so in his throate y^t scarc can swallow his spittle: Apr. 6. die ♀. h. 12. 30. 1599. cannot sleepe. as if his {sic} hed an impostume {bin} a bladder broake. meticulosꝯ. cold behind his hed.

RN Robart Kent of Walton 2 yeres old. on friday afore Christmas. about 11. 30. mi. consumed to nothing had a bunch vppon his thiges {sic} broken out & pined any face the best t of him. Ap. 9. die ☾. h. 10. 25|30|. mi 1599. cannot stande. nor goe very well. it doth cough. Katherine Parkins gave thē hard wordes.

RN Rich. Ellys of Hansl. 46: t Apr 24 die ♂ h. 8. 15. ant m. 1599. troubled w^th cordis calore stomachi ardore. ariditate Linguæ et a stomacho ascendit ad caput illud male afficit affligit

RN Thomas Impy of Marst{illeg}|on|e Morten 43 for a lame hand swelled y^t he can lift it vp to his hed. 24 of Apr. {di}e ♂ h. 11. 15. ant m. 1599. {taken} w^th a surfet of wet & cold. y^t fell into his armes.

RN George Illing of Newport had a great fall frō a howse his huckbone out of ioynt not able to goe a great paine about his harte. Apr. 25 die ☿ h. 10. 30. m ant m. 1599. his meateth {sic} cometh vp. his hart greeped.

RN Amy Ringe of Cranfield of 27. vnmarid. hath a great paine in her backe harte. & no digestion & Doth every day cast vp her meate. hard bound in her bodye. this fortnight. hath not had her Courses kindly not at any time May 5. die ♄ h. 1. 30. p m. 1599.

RN Susan Simons of Brodwell 40 yeres old. hath bene mightely troubled w^th a iandish an itch a paine in her hed. & a swelling in her left leg y^t itcheth wounderfully. maij 5 die ♄. h. 3. 22. mi. p m. 1599. not well this 7 yeares. sinc shee had a iaundish. very drie.

RN Edward Newall hath a great paine in his chest & camot {sic} digest his meate but it cōmeth vp againe. cannot take his sustenanc sometimes hard & sometimes loose. about a may 7. die ☾ h. 11. 1599 faynt & feeble. treateth winde

RN King of haversham for his wife Agnes y^t was brought a bed 7 weekes agoe. in her back syde & belli loynes & hucbones hath no stomacke. hot & boumd {sic} for a weeke. May the 9. die ☿ h. 5. 20 p m. 1599.
