RN Thomas Gardener of Dunsanger of 60 yeres old his water as red as any blood leeke very bloode fell sick on satterday night at midnight cōplayneth of his belly. very Costive since. can take no rest nor sleepe cryeth out w^th extremitye of payne. Apr. 9 die ☾ h. 6. {illeg}5|30|. m. ant m. 1599.

1 Had a colde & an extreame Cough a weeke afore shouetyde {sic} w^ch did much shake & macerate his Body & was freed both of colde & Cough w^thin 3 weekes after. findes a defect in his digestion, in the liuer as hee feareth, w^ch heretofore hath much anoyed him.

2. is \hath beene/ very costiue (saueinge for 3 dayes last past) w^th some forcem^t thereto, yet his Body is temporate for heate & colde.

3 hee is not much thirsty saue at meales;

4 hee sleepes indifferent well, 5 or 6 houres in the night at beast.

5 his stomack seemeth to bee quieted when hee suppeth posset drinke

6 This is his Clymatericall yeare, beeinge 63 yeares at Alhollowetide last.

7 hee desires to knowe howe his Liuer may bee releeved & howe his Body may be loosened.

8 His was water ordinarily keepes in a reasonable lowe Coulour.

9 Hee feares y^t his Body (beeinge old & weake) will not much abide Phisike./

10 his dyet com̄only is veale & broth. & sometimes mutton, his drinke is small Be{e}re

RN Agnys Brightwell of newport 46 y maried. i6 yeres sinc had a child. never sinc any, a cough had not had her sicknes this yere hed ill stomacke bound cānot abyde the sent of meate no sleepe.

twelfe days since delivered of a daughter. but very ill ever sinc full of payne & swounded onc or twice on sunday last was ill. head chest bound & costive this 6 days. heavy of sleepe & slepeth not /burneth.\

RN was so sick on tuesday h. 9 ant m 1623 so stopt & swelled about her chest y^t they thought she would die |5 child. youngest 7. y|

RN M^r Michaell longfilds wife 24. 3 weekes sinc brought a bed. taken {illeg}|v|iolently yesterday Ap 27. ☾ h h. {sic} 8 30 ant m taken violently in y^e bottome of her belly. \like the chollicke./ on syde frō her hip downeward very lame. stomack ill brought a bed 3. weekes sinc Apr 28. ♂: h: 9. 20 ant m. 1612 is very costive./

RN Iohn Risely of Rawnstyn 63|7|. {sic} 67. hath bene sick on weddensday last 6 weekes sound in body but bursten this 16 weekes. he was wont to be troubled w^th a wind Cholick. nowe last of l {sic} all w^th an issue on his navell eaten in an Inche deepe but nowe growen vp againe saving that it hath a litle hole in it w^c when they went to stoppe it put him in danger of death. sent his sonne to me he kepeth his bed nowe & then payned in his back & pricking & shooting in his navell {virs} an end. bleedeth every foote & wetteth a handkerchir. Decemb. 18. die ☾. h. 8. 40: mi. 1598. goeth ill to ground

RN Thomas Gardner of Dunsanger of 62 yeres old y^t pissed blood & was mended by the herbꝭ y^t I sent him in a receipte. sinc y^t time had on Waly who hath w^th his Clisters Done him litle good but is swollen in his belly w^c is growen very harde. & mutch payned in his share & can make but a litle water halfe a sponefull at a time would knowe wheath^r leekly to die or live. went not to ground sinc munday last about 12 a clocke sent to me this 18 of Apr. die ☿. h. 7. ant m 1599 burneth in his yarde.
